Author Guidelines

  1. Manuscript Submission
  • Submit your manuscript through our Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform.
  • Before submission, ensure your manuscript adheres to the journal’s formatting guidelines.
  • Submissions must be original works and not under consideration elsewhere.
  1. Manuscript Preparation
  • Language: Manuscripts should be written in English or Indonesian. For non-native English speakers, professional editing is recommended.
  • Length: Manuscripts should be between 4,000 and 7,000 words, including references, tables, and figures.
  • Font and Spacing: Use Times New Roman, 12-point font, with 1.5-line spacing.
  • Margins: Set margins to 1 inch (2.54 cm) on all sides.
  1. Manuscript Structure
  • Title Page:
    • Manuscript title
    • Author(s) name(s) and affiliation(s)
    • Corresponding author’s name, email address, and phone number
  • Abstract: Provide a concise abstract of 150-250 words, summarizing the research objectives, methodology, main findings, and conclusions.
  • Keywords: Include 3-5 keywords that encapsulate the primary topics of the manuscript.
  • Introduction: Present the research background, problem statement, objectives, and significance.
  • Literature Review: Review relevant literature to position your research within the current academic discourse.
  • Methodology: Detail the research design, data collection methods, and data analysis procedures.
  • Results: Present your findings with appropriate tables, figures, and narrative descriptions.
  • Discussion: Interpret the findings, compare them with existing studies, and discuss their implications.
  • Conclusion: Summarize the main findings and suggest avenues for future research.
  • References: Follow the APA (American Psychological Association) citation style for all references.
  1. Figures and Tables
  • Ensure all figures and tables are referenced in the text.
  • Number figures and tables consecutively using Arabic numerals (e.g., Table 1, Figure 1).
  • Provide descriptive captions for each figure and table.
  • Ensure figures are of high resolution (minimum 300 dpi).
  1. Ethical Considerations
  • Authors must adhere to ethical guidelines, avoiding plagiarism, data fabrication, and falsification.
  • Disclose any potential conflicts of interest.
  • For research involving human participants or animals, include a statement of approval from the relevant ethics committee.
  1. Peer-Review Process
  • All submissions undergo a double-blind peer-review process.
  • The review process typically takes 4 to 8 weeks.
  • Authors will receive feedback from reviewers and may be required to make revisions before final acceptance.
  1. Copyright and Permissions
  • By submitting a manuscript, authors agree to transfer copyright to the journal upon acceptance.
  • Authors may archive the published version of their article in institutional or other repositories.
  1. Publication Fees
  • Accepted manuscripts may be subject to a publication fee. Details on fees can be found on the journal’s website.
  • Fee waivers or discounts may be available for authors from low-income countries.

  1. Manuscript Format:

    • The manuscript follows TSI Journal's formatting guidelines.
    • The file is in Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) format.

  2. Title and Abstract:

    • The title is clear and concise.
    • An abstract of 150-250 words is included.

  3. Author Information:

    • All authors' names, affiliations, and contact details are provided.
    • The corresponding author is clearly indicated.

  4. References:

    • References are correctly formatted according to TSI Journal’s style.
    • A complete reference list is included.

  5. Figures and Tables:

    • Figures and tables are properly numbered and titled.
    • They are placed within the text, not at the end.

  6. Originality and Ethics:

    • The submission is original and not under review elsewhere.
    • Ethical standards are met, with any necessary approvals included.

  7. Proofreading:

    • The manuscript has been checked for spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
    • All co-authors have approved the final version.
